Sewing a Tween Dress using Violette Field Threads Pepper Pattern

My cute 6th grade daughter had a dance right before the end of the school year. She told me she wanted a new dress to wear. We headed to the fabric store (Hobby Lobby) and found this darling floral print and mixed it with a fun tiny polka dot. I love mixing and matching patterns.
I have been loving Violette Field Threads pdf patterns – you can download them instantly and print them at home. We used the Tween Pepper pattern for this dress and added the ruffle for the sleeve the band at the waist, increased the length  and made the pockets – who doesn’t love a dress with pockets.
She loved having a dress that was unique and totally her own. I love having four girls to sew for! What do you think?
Thanks for stopping by!
