A Tween Beach Party

I have to say – we don’t normally do sleepovers. I made an exception because all the moms would be invited too. It was one of the most fun parties and I know we all loved every minute.

I used my Cricut Maker to cut vinyl letters which I applied to beach balls for the invite.

When we arrived at the hotel, each girl was given a party bag with a custom monogram, homemade swimsuit cover up, beach ball and sunglasses with a personalized case. Go check out my darling friend Riva la Diva for a tutorial on this cute sunnies pouch.

I lined mine because I like the inside to look nice too. Her tutorial is fast, easy and I love the way they turned out. I ended up cutting out each girls name and added it to the pouch inside the sunglasses. (not shown)

The girls got to swim, play games, watched the Greatest Showman (they ended up singing along to all the songs – LOUDLY) and stay up all night long. My favorite game was having everyone bring baby photos. It was fun to see baby pictures of the girls and their moms.

I made Cafe Rio Sweet Pork salads for dinner and we had the most delicious sugar cookies from JillyB Creations. The next morning, the girls got up early and we made crepes for breakfast.

They played a game with a die and nail polish. They numbered six different nail polish colors. Whatever number they rolled they had to paint a nail with the color they assigned to that number.

They ended up with colorful toes and fingers.

After we did a little shopping at the Outlets nearby, we found this cute top at Old Navy.

We got a quick make-up lesson at Bare Minerals – just a little blush and lip gloss. She doesn’t get to wear make-up yet, but it’s always good to know how when the time comes.

Some of the girls ended up going home early for games and other commitments. These four had a great time shopping, laughing and hanging out.

I love that my daughter has such good friends. I appreciate that they can have fun together being silly, singing, laughing and making memories. These girls are kind and help to lift one another. I had a lot of fun planning this party, making gift bags, sewing swimsuit coverups and spending time with my sweet girl. She is already talking about next year and how she wants to do this all over again! For now, I just need a nap.
