DIY: Holiday Pillows

I love Christmas trees there is something nostalgic about decorating the tree while listening to Christmas music. I was talking to my friends the other day about our trees. She likes to put the tree up right after Halloween!!! I love my tree, but our tradition is the day after Thanksgiving. Which one are you?

SUPPLIES FOR YOUR OWN HOLIDAY PILLOW

20 x 20 Pillow Form I used the Fairfield World Poly-fit Preimier

1 1/4 yds of fabric 

1 – 20″ zipper

Scraps of fabric in red, green, black and white. 

scraps of embellishments ric rac, pom poms, ribbon, etc. 

Iron on Vinyl – I used Cricut Gold Foil Iron On

Cricut Explore Air 2 or Cricut Maker

Easy Press 2 

INSTRUCTIONS

1. Cut two 20″ x 20″ squares
2. Cut scraps into 1.5″ x 5.5″, 1.5″ x 6.5″, 1.5″ x 7.5″, 1.5″ x 8.5″, 1.5″ x 9.5″, 1.5″ x 10.5″

3. Sew embellishment onto fabric scraps

4. Sew fabric onto main fabric in shape of tree. 

5. Cut vinyl I made a file on Design Space here. 

6. Iron on vinyl

7. Sew pillow together. 

8. You’re done.
