Are you guys surviving Covid-19 and the quarantine? It’s definitely been a learning experience at my house. Having five kids in four different school is proving to be a lesson in time management and organization. We needed some creative time so I looked up some ideas on Pinterest. We found some great Easter Activities that sounded like fun and we got to work.
Easter Bunny
1 – sock, I have so many that are missing its mate – I used those.
Polyfil – you could also you rice or anything that will give your bunny shape.
Cricut to cut the vinyl. You can use the new Cricut Joy, the Cricut Maker or the Cricut Explore Air 2
Vinyl – I used Iron on in black. Really you want to use whatever color works best with the socks you have.
ribbon – optional to tie around neck and possibly on ears
Assembly:
Fill the bottom 1/3 of the sock with the polyfil and then tie off with an elastic.
Fill the next 1/3 with polyfil and tie with elastic.
Cut ears.
You are done!
Reverse Easter Egg Hunting
I found this idea on another blog and my daughter hand wrote all the signs. We took them to several neighbors.
We hid Easter eggs filled with candy around their house and then left a basket and the note on their porch, rang the doorbell and then ran away.
It was fun to see the excitement on their faces and how happy it made them. We practiced social distancing and provided some fun for families. We saw one of the families pay it forward to another family which we totally loved!
You can get a free printable from A Girl and A Glue Gun I originally got the idea from her.
Let me know if you decide to do the Easter egg hunt in your neighborhood. I’d love to see pictures.
Thanks for stopping by!
