As you know, I love my Cricut Maker, I use it almost as much as I use my sewing machine. I love the versatility, ease, speed and variety of projects you can create. I really love heading to design space and finding projects in the community or in access and then personalizing them for me! My kids have loved using it for last minute gifts, school projects and just for fun. What is your favorite thing to create? Here are my top five projects.
This is a sponsored conversation written by me on behalf of Cricut. The opinions and text are all mine.
#1 Using Cricut Maker to Quilt
I started out making quilts and they never lined up perfectly. I kept telling myself that’s how you know it’s handmade and made with love. Having the Cricut Maker changed my quilting. It is so easy to cut all the pieces out and then sew them up. I was able to make this quilt in two day and it was the first time that ALL my seams lined up perfectly!! This is one of the many reasons that I love my Cricut Maker.

#2 Infusible Ink Hat
This is not an approved Cricut blank, but it worked really well. As long as you have a super high polyester content the infusible ink works so well. I love how this turned out, I am not normally a hat girl, but this was too cute not to make it. I love how the infusible ink really fuses to the fabric and looks like it was made that way. Using the Cricut Maker is so easy to create personalized, professionally looking items which is another reason I really love my Cricut Maker.

#3 Sweet Girl Pillow
How adorable is this pillow? The best part is how easy it is to assemble. When I first started sewing reading patterns could be very confusing. With the Cricut Maker, it will actually write (with removable ink) on the fabric so you know exactly where to sew and which piece gets connected to another. This feature can also be turned off for more advanced crafters.

#4 Personalized Parties
Using the Maker to cut out personalized iron on shapes was the perfect party favor. It was so fun letting the girls design their own take home bag. I loved watching their personalities shine with their selections in Cricut’s Design Space. With the many images and fonts available it the perfect design system to allow kids freedom to create and ease of use. These girls loved watching the machine cut and then they were able to place the their design on the bag I sewed for them.

#5 Homemade Gift: Eye Mask
Cutting fabric and then switching to heat transfer vinyl is so easy with the Cricut Maker. I have a free download for this eye mask shape that you can make. I love how versatile this machine is and the number of different mediums it can cut is amazing! I love cutting a bunch of these eye masks out so I have them on hand whenever I need a last minute gift. You can cut vinyl iron on to say whatever you need to fit the person you are giving it to.
