Life has been crazy over here. I really wish I could sometimes stop the world from spinning so I could catch my breath. I know that won’t ever happen, but when I find time to do something for me, my life feels infinitely better. My family knows when I haven’t taken time for myself because I get a little cranky. I think self-care makes me a better wife, mom and human. It’s something we should all do.
I love coloring, I loved coloring as a kid and still love it today. These adult coloring books are the best! Everything is better with a pretty case to hold your crayons, markers, gel pens, etc. I truly love making little pouches like this for everything. My kids will tell you I have a little bag obsession. It’s so easy to make on the cricut. You can find my inspiration for my bag here on Cricut Design Space.
I made my bow a little differently, I have the Cricut Maker so I can cut fabric without backing it. I cut two bows out and then sewed the right sides together, leaving a small hole to turn. If you need to use backing I like to use Thermoweb Heat n Bond on the bottom piece and the lighter fusible interfacing on the rest.
One of the things I love about my Cricut and creating projects are the endless possibilities. You don’t have to follow each project exactly the same. Do what works best for you.
