I am so excited about this new adventure. I took my first sewing class in Junior High – and loved making aprons, pillowcases and pillows. I took a few years off and picked it back up while living in Kentucky. I was inspired by my amazing friend Diane. She is quite the quilter. I have been in love ever since. I also enjoy cooking, knitting, reading, dancing and spending time with my family.
I am a Korean adoptee and my Korean name while living in the orphanage was Sook Ee – I’ve been told that it means Pure. I love being adopted and had the greatest family ever. My mom always told me that my birth mom loved me so much, wanted a better life for me than she could provide and that’s why I was adopted. I always believed her. My mom passed away a few years ago; I miss her everyday. Growing up she told me that I could do anything I wanted to. I never doubted that. I have a pure love of what I do and I hope that I can share that with you.
