Do your kids come home with holes in their jeans? Mine do all the time. It is super frustrating especially when you didn’t buy them that way. The best example I have is my daughter got a new pair of jeans and came home that day with holes in the knees. Why? She had fun at recess. I love her spunky personality and her ability to have a great time at school. I did not love the holes.

Here is a quick and easy way to repair the holes and keep the jeans. She ended up loving them. I love how fast it was to put together and you can use fabric scraps too!
Materials:
Old jeans
2 fabric scraps 5″ X wof
Tutorial
Begin by cutting the jeans off about 1/2′ above the hole.

Cut two strips 5″ x wof

Fold in half, right sides together, leave a 3″ hole in the center, turn right side out.

Turn jeans inside out and pin the fabric, line up with bottom of jeans. Sew around leaving about 2.5′ not sewn.

Turn and tie in a square knot. You are done!
So easy and fun. You can really let your kids personalize their jeans. Thanks again for visiting. I hope you will come back again. I’d love to see what you make be sure to tag me in your photos @sookeedesigns
